Wedding & Reception - Ida Grove, Iowa

Wesley & Claudia were married on a rare 55 degree day in January in Ida Grove, Iowa.  As you will see, we took full advantage of the beautiful weather that day!

Wesley & Claudia were high school sweethearts.  I photographed both of their senior pictures, so I was very excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding!  We started with the "getting ready" images at Claudia's house, then went just down the street to her Great Grandmother's house, where we did most of the outdoor images.  LaJune had the perfect setting outside her house!  The bridesmaids' dresses were some of my favorite that I have ever photographed! 

After we finished the wedding party images & some family portraits, we headed to the church for the rest of the family portraits.  Their ceremony took place at St Paul Lutheran in Ida Grove.  I always love to photograph weddings there as that was the church that I grew up in.

The ceremony followed at the family's airplane hangar, just east of town.  They continued the copper accents throughout the reception, along with greens and eucalyptus.  It was stunning!

Congrats you two!  Thanks again for letting me be a part of your big day!
